    Hotel Emerald Potts Point does not offer on-site parking facilities.

    However, free and metered on-street parking is available nearby on Challis Avenue, Victoria Street, and Macleay Street, with varying time limits including 1-hour, 2-hour, and 4-hour zones.

    • Approximately a 5-minute walk from the hotel
    • Open 24 hours daily

    Yes, Hotel Emerald Potts Point is conveniently located close to both train and bus services.

    • Kings Cross Train Station is approximately a 5-minute walk away, offering frequent services to Sydney Central Station, Town Hall, Circular Quay, and Bondi Junction.
    • Bus stops are located nearby on Macleay Street, with regular services to the Sydney CBD, Bondi Beach, and surrounding Eastern Suburbs. Buses generally operate every 10–15 minutes daily.

    Pets are not permitted at Hotel Emerald Potts Point, with the exception of registered service animals.

    If you are travelling with a service animal, please contact our Guest Services team prior to arrival so we can make the necessary arrangements for your stay.

    Our standard check-in time is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM.

    Guests who book directly through the official Hotel Emerald website receive a complimentary extended check-out until 12:00 PM.

    Early check-in and late check-out requests may be accommodated subject to availability. Our Guest Services team will always do their best to assist.

    • Complimentary luggage storage is available from reception opening hours.
    • Late check-out until 1:00 PM is available for an additional fee of AUD $50.

    As a beautifully preserved heritage building dating back to 1929, Hotel Emerald Potts Point does not have lift access.

    Please note the hotel is spread across three levels. If you have accessibility concerns or mobility requirements, please contact our Guest Services team prior to your arrival and we will be happy to assist where possible.

    Yes, Hotel Emerald Potts Point offers after-hours self-check-in for late arrivals.

    Hotel Emerald Potts Point does not currently offer breakfast service.

    However, the hotel is surrounded by some of Sydney’s best cafés, restaurants, and local eateries. We also have a café conveniently located next door — perfect for your morning coffee or breakfast before exploring the city.

    Hotel Emerald Potts Point is a strictly non-smoking and non-vaping property in accordance with NSW legislation.

    Smoking, vaping, steam, cooking, or misuse of aerosols within rooms or on hotel premises may trigger the fire alarm system.

    Please note:

    • Any fire brigade call-out caused by guest actions will incur AUD $1,750 penalty
    • Additional charges may apply for property damage, excessive cleaning, or missing items
    • Charges may be applied directly to the card provided at check-in
    • Breaches of this policy may result in immediate eviction without refund

    For personal items left behind at Hotel Emerald:

    In-person collection – You are welcome to collect your items directly from the hotel reception during business hours, within 7 days.

    Courier or authorised representative – You may arrange for a courier, or for someone you trust, to collect the items on your behalf. They must present valid photo identification at the time of collection.

    Postage via Australia Post – We can send your items to you using Australia Post. Postage costs are to be paid by the receiver.
